Westfield Moose Family Center Helps a Family in Need

WESTFIELD – The Westfield Moose Family Center, heard that Dave Pine of Westfield has been fighting a battle with cancer. With his fight with cancer, he is having a hard time to maintain their way of life. The Moose Lodge, some local vendors, his family, friends and co-workers, held a fundraiser, two local bands, The Los-Rokeros and Whiskey Junction, donated their time to help this family. Dave was in the hospital and felt he had to thank everyone for showing up to help. Dave made an appearance to thank everyone and returned to the hospital. With the raffles and fifty-fifty’s and the donations sent in over $3,000.00 was raised to help Dave and his family, keep their way of life, while battling this terrible disease. The Westfield Moose Family Center and the Governor’s wife Cindy Locklear put on a newlywed game for Westfield’s Cancer House of Hope and raised $129.00.
