LaValley Appointed Community Development Coordinator
WESTFIELD – Jeffrey J. LaValley, of Westfield has been named community development coordinator at Noble Hospital.
LaValley most recently served as director of alumni and parent relations at Keene State College in Keene, N.H. where he managed a comprehensive alumni relations program, including marketing, social networking, major weekends (including Homecoming and Reunion), publications, awards, and communications. Prior to his position at Keene State, he served as a major gifts officer at the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force in Los Angeles, Calif. He also previously served as associate director of development for annual funds at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, and as assistant director of annual giving at Pomona College in Claremont, Calif.
He received a bachelor of arts degree in journalism/public affairs (1988) and a master of education degree in curriculum and instruction (1999) from Keene State College. LaValley also holds a certificate in personnel management from Valencia Community College and a certificate in fund raising from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
As coordinator, LaValley will be responsible for outreach and marketing efforts designed to increase awareness of and participation in Noble Hospital’s services, programs, and community-based events, including the Hospital’s participation in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, the 5k Run for A Noble Cause/Walk for Good Health, and the Noble Ball.
LaValley is an active volunteer, serving locally as the vice chair for Friends of the Columbia Greenway Rail Trail; and, as class secretary and class agent for Keene State College.

Though I’ve spent several years outside of Westfield, I was born at Noble Hospital, and I look forward to educating members of the greater Westfield community about the myriad of programs and services Noble Hospital has to offer, as well as carrying the message forward for Noble as the community hospital of choice.”
